Dave Winer the other day reminded me to go enjoy Tony Kahn’s Morning Stories archives [feed]. It was great to meet Tony at BloggerCon earlier this month, especially when he participated in my session on emotional life. What fun to look through the mp3s available! Browsing through the Morning Stories archives feels a little like Christmas morning…and reminds me of others who would enjoy these gifts too…something for everyone, it seems…

For Ted:
I discovered two recordings with Deborah Henson-Conant who is “.. a combination of Leonard Bernstein, Steven Tyler, and Xena the Warrior Princess ..”. She also is curator of the Burnt Food Museum (maybe I could submit my chicken curry…). Ted and I went to see her and her harp at the Regattabar in Cambridge years ago. She has two pieces Art is good and Getting Better

For Jeffy:
The segment Art is good includes a mention of another Lost Glove…or at least, according to my notes, a … single thread bare mitten, bronzed and stuck between the escalators…….

For Enoch:
Two medical stories on the front page, one by John Harris, third-year medical student, and a medic’s letter from Iraq, read by Tony Kahn.

For Betsy Devine fans:
Yes, I finally listed to her Morning Story too. Has the Nobel Committee heard this one? 🙂 Somehow, based on this recording, I suspect that that the Ice Hotel won’t be too cold with Betsy there to provide some creative sparks…
