Also while walking downtown today, I noticed a beautiful pot of plants growing in the middle of an island in the street. There, amidst concrete, red, yellow and purple flowers flourished. It was far enough away from any possible sprinkler system that it seemed someone must be watering the colorful plants by hand, certainly if the flowers were blooming so well in the heat we’ve been having. Someone must be remembering each day to hike out into the street and visit those vibrant blossoms with a watering can.
And I thought: Wow, how wonderful that someone loves those flowers.
It’s no wonder they are blooming so brightly!
Hey flowers – someone loves you!
