It’s spring in The Netherlands, as Jorrit Wiersma described on A beautiful morning :

The good thing about how daylight saving time is making us all get up an hour early today is all the birds singing that I heard this morning.

And it’s spring in Missouri, as Shelley Powers wrote about Transitions:

Spring didn’t gradually intrude this year; it exploded in a verdant flood, blossom-bedecked and ready to roll. The bird tree on the corner, visible from my window went from naked limbs and buds to full flower to green leaves in just a matter of a few days; the fields have already greened, and it’s only March. That’s what heavy rains and unusually warm days and nights — almost sultry– will bring.

We’ve been having beautiful mornings here in the Pacific Northwest too. Yesterday in particular was sunny and sultry, even for a morning. Unusual for Seattle in March. By noon it was 75 degrees in the shade at our house. I grabbed the camera and raced outside to photograph flowers, baby in arms.
