Instead of the posts I didn’t write last night, please go and read Lisa Williams’ blog. Okay, well, of course, my own Getting Things Done list is a little different from Lisa’s and doesn’t include buying a house this weekend (Bay Area prices might not be the best bargains, but it’s your birthday so go ahead and splurge, Lisa…just teasing). But I confess that even at 2 am this morning I was vainly modeling for the mirror with sleepy eyes, still deciding which wardrobe items to put in the suitcase. And I share her frustration of bursting with things to say yet little time to say them. Weather forecast includes a blogburst for Sunday or Monday here, after I return home and have time to tidy the rough drafts of posts and implement the ideas that have been dancing in my mind for days. The week has been filled with mini-adventures. I knew that when I committed to going to this conference, it would be difficult to do, given the timing, and in the meantime, since May, a number of other occurrences have collided (conspired?) to make this week particularly crazy. But I know it will be worth it to be at Blogher! It’s been fun to watch the community come together to create the conference. I’m glad to be going and grateful especially to Susan Mernit for hosting me and giving me a special invite to join her in the Blogging 101 session. I’m heading to the airport in an hour and looking forward to seeing everyone soon: Susan will be the first of many friends to meet and make this weekend. Perhaps I’ll even find some time to write posts in the transit…
My sentiments exactly
