I was sitting here in the kitchen this morning when I noticed the curtains in the dining room glowing pink. Now these are not white gauzy curtains. We have some of those too. These are upholstery fabric beige and green….so I know that if they are glowing pink, something bright must be in the eastern sky. Pulling away the curtains, I was amazed at the vibrant tones of the sunrise. Magenta, pink and purple tones up above, while the forest below almost seemed to be burning. I tried to take some pictures both indoors and outside but the camera can’t seem to capture the intensity and wonder of it all. Thought I’d try anyway:
